We're looking for an exceptional Head of Events to lead the commercial events strategy across The Newman and Dila, driving revenue growth whilst creating unforgettable experiences for corporate clients, private celebrations, brand activations and exclusive events.

About You and the Role

Reporting to the Director of Sales, you'll be responsible for leading and developing the Events team whilst driving the commercial strategy for events across The Newman and Dila.

We're looking for someone who will:

• Develop and deliver the commercial strategy to grow events revenue across both brands.
• Lead, inspire and develop the Event Manager and Event Executive.
• Build long-term relationships with corporate clients, luxury brands, event agencies and strategic partners.
• Personally manage key accounts and secure high-value corporate, private and social events.
• Drive new business opportunities through networking, partnerships and proactive business development.
• Work closely with the Revenue, Marketing, Food & Drink and Operations teams to maximise commercial performance.
• Develop creative event concepts, seasonal campaigns and exclusive experiences that differentiate The Newman and Dila within the London market.
• Monitor enquiries, conversion rates, average booking value and profitability to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
• Ensure every client journey, from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up, reflects the exceptional service standards of both brands.
• Produce accurate forecasts, budgets and commercial reports, identifying opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
• Act as a passionate ambassador for The Newman and Dila within London's luxury hospitality and events industry.
• Have a minimum of five years' experience leading luxury events sales within hotels or premium hospitality venues.
• Have a proven track record of growing events revenue and developing successful commercial partnerships.
• Be an inspiring leader with experience developing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrate excellent commercial awareness, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Have an established network within London's luxury corporate and events market.
• Have experience using Delphi, Salesforce, Opera Cloud or similar sales systems.
• Be passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences and creating memorable events.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment whilst embodying The Newman's REAL People values.
