We’re on the lookout for a Reservation Agent who brings warmth, care, and attention to every guest interaction. You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our guests, helping them plan their stay and making sure they already feel at home before they’ve even walked through the door.

About You and The Role

As a Reservation Agent at The Newman, you will:

• Embody our REAL People values—being Responsible, Energised, Approachable, and Local in everything you do.
• Handle guest reservations with care and accuracy, using Opera Cloud and Synxis to manage bookings, changes, and cancellations professionally.
• Use your knowledge of our rooms, packages, and promotions to confidently recommend the right options for every guest.
• Personalise each interaction, suggesting thoughtful extras and upgrades that enhance the stay and drive revenue.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth handovers and a seamless guest journey from booking to check-out.
• Be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.

About The Newman

The Newman will offer 81 rooms and suites, including a luxurious rooftop signature suite with a private terrace and dedicated wellness area. Guests can enjoy an all-day brasserie serving dishes inspired by Northern European flavours and Gambit Bar, offering a range of cocktails and local craft beers, the hotel also features an entire floor dedicated to Wellness.
