We’re looking for a Bell and Luggage Assistant who brings warmth, care, and attention to every guest interaction. You’ll play a key role in the Concierge team, bridging the guest journey from the moment they arrive to the moment they reach their room.

About You and The Role

As a Bell & Luggage Assistant at The Newman, you will:

• Welcome guests, assisting with luggage on arrival and accompanying them to their rooms
• Help departing guests by collecting luggage, arranging transportation, and ensuring a smooth farewell
• Support the Concierge with guest requests, including answering phones, taking messages, and sharing information
• Provide directions and confidently share knowledge of hotel services, locations, and hours of operation
• Maintain open communication with the front desk, concierge and other departments
• Ensure the front door is always manned and welcoming
• Provide support to other hotel departments with specific requests as needed.
• Be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays

About The Newman

The Newman will offer 81 rooms and suites, including a luxurious rooftop signature suite with a private terrace and dedicated wellness area. Guests can enjoy an all-day brasserie serving dishes inspired by Northern European flavours and Gambit Bar, offering a range of cocktails and local craft beers, the hotel also features an entire floor dedicated to Wellness.
