We're looking for an exceptional Management Accountant to join our Finance team and help ensure the financial success of one of London's newest luxury hotels.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys combining management accounting with operational finance, income audit and financial control. You'll work closely with teams across the hotel to provide meaningful financial insight, safeguard revenue and support informed business decisions.

About You and the Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring the integrity of the hotel's financial reporting while supporting operational leaders with meaningful commercial insight.

We're looking for someone who will:

  • Prepare month-end journals, accruals, reconciliations and support the production of monthly management accounts.
  • Complete daily income audits, ensuring the accuracy of all revenue streams across Rooms, Food & Drinks, Spa and Events.
  • Reconcile revenue between Opera Cloud, MICROS, payment gateways and the General Ledger.
  • Identify revenue discrepancies, investigate variances and proactively minimise revenue leakage.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to improve business performance.
  • Manage banking, credit card reconciliations, guest ledger balances and Accounts Receivable activities.
  • Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Support internal and external audits whilst continuously improving finance processes and reporting.
  • Build strong working relationships with operational departments, providing financial guidance and commercial insight.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Finance team across purchasing, stock control and accounts payable when required.
  • Support finance projects, system improvements and business initiatives that contribute to the continued success of The Newman.
  • Utilise hotel systems including Fourth, Adaco, M3, Fairmas, MICROS and Opera Cloud to ensure accurate reporting and financial integrity.
  • Have previous experience within a hospitality finance department, ideally within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Ideally hold an AAT qualification (or equivalent) and have experience supporting budgeting and forecasting.
