We’re looking for a Bartender to join the opening team at The Newman, working across both Gambit, our stylish cocktail bar, or Adalana, our modern all-day brasserie. You’ll bring energy, personality, and precision to every pour—whether it’s a crisp pre-dinner Martini or a laid-back brunch Mimosa.

About You and The Role

As a Bartender at The Newman, you will:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, wines, beers, and soft drinks with consistency and flair
• Engage guests with confidence, warmth, and a sense of fun—whether at the bar or table-side
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and well-organised bar at all times
• Confidently make recommendations, upsell thoughtfully, and answer questions on ingredients and pairings
• Ideally have experience using Micros
• Be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays

About The Newman

The Newman will offer 81 rooms and suites, including a luxurious rooftop signature suite with a private terrace and dedicated wellness area. Guests can enjoy Adalana, our all-day brasserie serving dishes inspired by Northern European flavours and Gambit Bar, offering a range of cocktails and local craft beers, the hotel also features an entire floor dedicated to Wellness.
