Be part of an exciting new restaurant opening on Charlotte Street in the heart of Fitzrovia. Launching in late autumn 2026, Dila is an Eastern Mediterranean restaurant seen through the lens of a Londoner – bringing together vibrant flavours, generous hospitality and exceptional produce.

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and positive Kitchen Porter to join our opening kitchen team. Kitchen Porters are at the heart of a successful kitchen, and you’ll play an essential role in keeping Dila clean, organised and running smoothly while supporting our chefs throughout preparation and service.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dila from the very beginning, become part of a supportive kitchen team and build your skills and career within a brand-new restaurant in Fitzrovia.

About Dila

Spanning two floors, Dila will have approximately 50 covers on the ground floor and a further 70 on the first floor, including a private dining room, alongside a 40-cover terrace.

Designed for sharing, the menu centres around seasonal meze, vegetable-led dishes and charcoal grills, combining indigenous ingredients and spices from across the region with exceptional produce sourced from local farmers, growers, fishermen and producers across the UK.

About You and The Role

As a Kitchen Porter at Dila, you will:

• Keep the kitchen, wash-up and back-of-house areas clean, organised and ready for service, helping the wider team operate safely and efficiently
• Ensure crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans and kitchen equipment are cleaned and returned promptly throughout preparation and service
• Support the chefs with general kitchen duties and basic food preparation where required, giving you opportunities to learn more about the kitchen
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene, following all food safety, Health & Safety and cleaning procedures
• Assist with deliveries, ensuring products are safely received, moved and stored in the correct areas
• Support responsible waste management, recycling and waste separation in line with Dila’s commitment to sustainability
• Work closely with the chefs and wider restaurant team, bringing energy and a helpful, team-focused approach to every shift
• Bring reliability, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
