As Duty Manager at the Reception, you’ll be the friendly face that welcomes guests, the calm presence when things get busy, and the go-to support for our people across departments. This role is perfect for someone who loves being hands-on, enjoys variety, and thrives on making people feel looked after.

About You and The Role

We’re looking for a Duty Manager who:

• Supports the team to deliver seamless guest experiences – from welcoming VIPs to stepping in during busy periods at reception, concierge, or the bell desk
• Leads the Reception team in the absence of the Reception Manager
• Coordinates across departments, manages daily handovers, and ensures smooth arrivals, departures, and follow-ups
• Handles guest complaints with care, logs service recovery, and authorises allowances, rebates, or late check-out charges when needed
• Keeps things on track behind the scenes – managing credit reports, lost property and team scheduling
• Has front-of-house experience, stays calm under pressure, and naturally connects with people
• Is flexible with shifts working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern across weekdays and weekends, and genuinely cares about creating great guest experiences
