We’re looking for a Front Desk Supervisor who leads with warmth, confidence, and attention to detail. In this role, you will not only deliver exceptional guest experiences but also support and guide the Front Desk team, ensuring every interaction reflects our standards.

As a key presence in the lobby, you will set the tone for the guest journey, creating a welcoming atmosphere, driving consistency in service, and ensuring every guest feels recognised and cared for from arrival through to departure.

About You and The Role

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will lead by example, creating a warm, welcoming environment for both guests and the team. You will play a key role in shaping the guest experience, ensuring every interaction is personal, seamless, and reflective of The Newman’s standards.

You will:

  • Lead the Front Desk team during your shift, ensuring smooth and efficient operations at all times
  • Be a visible and approachable presence in the lobby, setting the tone for exceptional guest experience
  • Create personalised and memorable moments for guests, anticipating needs and going beyond expectations
  • Support check-ins and check-outs, room allocations, billing queries, and guest requests
  • Review arrivals, VIPs, and special requests, ensuring all details are prepared and delivered to a high standard
  • Take ownership of guest feedback, resolving concerns with empathy, confidence, and professionalism
  • Coach and support Front Desk Agents, providing guidance, feedback, and on-the-job training
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest journey
  • Ensure standards are consistently met, including presentation, communication, and attention to detail
  • Support Duty Managers with operational decisions and step in when required
  • Be flexible to work varied shift patterns, including weekends and bank holidays

Experience with Opera Cloud and Knowcross is essential, along with previous supervisory experience in a similar role
