About You and The Role

As a Room Attendant at The Newman, you will:

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to hotel standards—including making beds, sanitising bathrooms, replenishing amenities, and tidying all areas
• Check that all furniture, fixtures, and appliances are working, and report maintenance issues using Knowcross
• Respond to guest requests professionally, such as providing extra items or meeting specific preferences
• Handle guest belongings with care, report lost property appropriately, and respect guest privacy at all times
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures, and use cleaning products responsibly
• Assist with public area cleaning, laundry support, or other housekeeping tasks as required
• Be a team player, attending briefings and training sessions to stay up to date on standards and procedures

About The Newman

The Newman will offer 81 rooms and suites, including a luxurious rooftop signature suite with a private terrace and dedicated wellness area. Guests can enjoy an all-day brasserie serving dishes inspired by Northern European flavours and Gambit Bar, offering a range of cocktails and local craft beers, the hotel also features an entire floor dedicated to Wellness.
