We’re looking for a Room Attendant to join the team at The Newman. You will play an important role in creating the calm, comfortable spaces our guests return to after a day in the city. With a strong eye for detail and pride in your work, you will help ensure every room meets our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

About You and The Role

As a Room Attendant at The Newman, you will:

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors to the highest standards
• Ensure rooms are beautifully presented and fully stocked with guest amenities
• Report any maintenance issues or room defects to the housekeeping team promptly
• Work closely with the wider housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals
• Maintain housekeeping cupboards and supplies to support efficient daily operations
• Deliver friendly and professional service when interacting with guests
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
• Be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays

About The Newman

The Newman offers 81 rooms and suites, including a luxurious rooftop signature suite with a private terrace and dedicated wellness area. Guests can enjoy Angelica, our all-day brasserie serving dishes inspired by Northern European flavours, and Gambit Bar, offering a range of cocktails and local craft beers. The hotel also features an entire floor dedicated to Wellness.
