Be part of an exciting new restaurant opening on Charlotte Street in the heart of Fitzrovia. Launching in late autumn 2026, Dila is an Eastern Mediterranean restaurant seen through the lens of a Londoner – bringing together vibrant flavours, generous hospitality and exceptional produce.

We are looking for an experienced, organised and hands-on Senior Kitchen Porter to join our opening kitchen team. You’ll play an important role in keeping the heart of Dila running smoothly, taking the lead on standards across the kitchen porter operation while supporting the chefs and wider back-of-house team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dila from the very beginning, help establish our back-of-house standards and ways of working, support and guide the Kitchen Porter team, and become part of something special in Fitzrovia.

About Dila

Spanning two floors, Dila will have approximately 50 covers on the ground floor and a further 70 on the first floor, including a private dining room, alongside a 40-cover terrace.

Designed for sharing, the menu centres around seasonal meze, vegetable-led dishes and charcoal grills, combining indigenous ingredients and spices from across the region with exceptional produce sourced from local farmers, growers, fishermen and producers across the UK.

About You and The Role

As a Senior Kitchen Porter at Dila, you will:

• Take the lead in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, organisation and hygiene across the kitchen, wash-up and back-of-house areas
• Support and guide the Kitchen Porter team during busy services, helping organise priorities and ensuring the kitchen has everything it needs to operate efficiently
• Ensure crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans and kitchen equipment are cleaned, stored correctly and returned promptly throughout service
• Maintain cleaning schedules and procedures, ensuring all food safety, COSHH, Health & Safety and hygiene requirements are consistently followed
• Coordinate deliveries and storage where required, ensuring goods are safely received and moved to the appropriate areas while keeping storage spaces organised
• Support the chefs with general kitchen duties and basic preparation when required, working collaboratively with the wider brigade
• Help manage waste separation, recycling and responsible disposal while supporting Dila’s commitment to sustainability and minimising unnecessary waste
