We’re looking for a Housekeeping Porter to join our housekeeping team. This role is essential in supporting the smooth running of the department by ensuring linen, supplies, and guest requests are handled efficiently, while helping maintain the high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the hotel.

About You and The Role

As a Housekeeping Porter at The Newman, you will:

• Support the housekeeping team by distributing and collecting linen across floors
• Replenish housekeeping cupboards with guest amenities and supplies
• Assist with minibar restocking and stock management
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally
• Support the cleaning of terraces and balconies using specialist equipment where required
• Remove rubbish and support the general organisation of housekeeping storage areas
• Assist the housekeeping team during busy periods to ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the relevant department
• Work closely with Room Attendants, Supervisors, and the wider hotel team to maintain smooth operations
• Be flexible to work a variety of shifts including weekends and bank holidays
