We’re looking for a Cocktail Waiter/Waitress to join our opening bar team at Gambit, The Newman’s intimate and lively cocktail bar. You’ll bring warmth, charisma, and confidence to every guest interaction while delivering a service experience that’s stylish, unpretentious, and full of personality.

About You and The Role

As a Cocktail Waiter/Waitress at The Newman, you will:

• Bring energy, warmth and attentiveness to every table and bar guest
• Serve cocktails, wines, spirits and bar snacks with confidence and attention to detail
• Talk passionately and knowledgeably about our drinks list and make thoughtful recommendations
• Work closely with bartenders and the bar team to keep service smooth and stylish
• Anticipate guest needs and tailor your service to suit the moment
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, set-up, and bar presentation
• Be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including late nights, weekends, and bank holidays

About The Newman

The Newman will offer 81 rooms and suites, including a luxurious rooftop signature suite with a private terrace and dedicated wellness area. Guests can enjoy an all-day brasserie serving dishes inspired by Northern European flavours and Gambit Bar, offering a range of cocktails and local craft beers, the hotel also features an entire floor dedicated to Wellness.
