We’re looking for a Uniform & Valet Attendant to manage our hotel’s uniform room and laundry services. You’ll be responsible for issuing and tracking team uniforms, supporting guest laundry and valet services, and ensuring high standards of garment care, cleanliness, and presentation for both staff and guests.

About You and The Role

As a Uniform & Valet Attendant at The Newman, you will:

  • Distribute, collect, and organise staff uniforms—ensuring each item is clean, pressed, and in good condition
  • Assist with uniform fittings and coordinate repairs or alterations as needed
  • Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and pressing machines
  • Sort, treat, wash, dry, and press uniforms, guest garments, and hotel linens according to fabric care standards
  • Deliver prompt, discreet, and professional guest laundry and pressing services, logging all charges and coordinating with Reception
  • Report equipment issues, laundry volumes, and uniform needs to management as required

Prior experience with RFID systems is preferred.
