This is no ordinary opportunity. As part of the preopening team, our Reservations Manager will craft a seamless and welcoming experience from the very first booking. You'll take the lead in shaping our reservations function, ensuring every guest interaction is smooth and take every opportunity to optimise revenue. At The Newman, our Reservations team will not just take bookings— you create the first chapter of a remarkable guest journey.

About You and The Role

We’re looking for a Reservations Manager who:

• Thrives in a fast-paced, preopening environment, setting up and refining processes from the ground up.
• Brings expertise in hotel reservations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and seamless service.
• Enjoys a hands-on role, directly interacting with guests, ensuring every detail is managed flawlessly, and demonstrating strong leadership skills.
• Puts guest experience first, creating a warm, personalised booking journey.
• Has a strong commercial mindset, optimising inventory, rates, and revenue while working closely with the Director of Revenue.
• Leads with confidence and professionalism, recruiting and training a reservations team, collaborating across departments, and handling high-profile bookings.
• Excels at problem-solving, staying calm under pressure and resolving last-minute changes with ease.
• Is flexible with shifts, including weekends, leading by example to ensure smooth and memorable guest experiences.

The Newman will offer 81 rooms and suites, including a luxurious rooftop signature suite with a private terrace and dedicated wellness area. Guests can enjoy Brasserie Adeline, an all-day brasserie serving dishes inspired by Northern European flavours and Gambit Bar, offering a range of cocktails and local craft beers, the hotel also features an entire floor dedicated to Wellness.
