We’re looking for a Night Chef de Partie who brings calm, confidence, and consistency to our kitchen overnight. You’ll take the lead during night service, preparing late-night and early-morning dishes, and supporting our Room Service operation to deliver warm and thoughtful in-room dining experiences.

About You and The Role

As a Night Chef de Partie at The Newman, you will:

• Lead food preparation and plating during night service
• Ensure timely, accurate delivery of in-room dining orders
• Maintain a clean, organised kitchen and follow food safety standards at all times
• Work independently and calmly, supporting other night team members as needed
• Communicate clearly with the Front Office and Room Service team to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Support early-morning breakfast mise en place before the day team arrives
• Be flexible and available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and bank holidays

About The Newman

The Newman will offer 81 rooms and suites, including a luxurious rooftop signature suite with a private terrace and dedicated wellness area. Guests can enjoy an all-day brasserie serving dishes inspired by Northern European flavours and Gambit Bar, offering a range of cocktails and local craft beers, the hotel also features an entire floor dedicated to Wellness.
